big selling point on any engine swap, is that they bothered to make the A/C works. usually when I see no a/c on a swap I know they kinda got lazy.

Looks like the rear wheels will rub if you load a small tote bag.

It’d be hard it build it for that price.

Helped a friend reinstate AC on his swapped E30, it wasn’t that difficult.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen this generation of Legacy wagon in person before, let alone one with an LS swap.
I love it. But it’s too low. I mean, yeah I’m getting old, but even when I was 20 I would have been like “Nope” on that suspension.

yeah, I think that’s a valid measure. Looks well done, and was certainly a lot of work.

agreed. It just seems to be something so many engine swaps don’t bother with, often becuase a custom or different mount is needed. and in this case certainly some custom tubing. It’s just extra steps at the end of the project.

It’s an extra step that can make a huge difference, especially in a climate where it’s warranted .

most of this gen were sold as the “outback”, lifted and two tone. I really like them as a legacy version. But yeah, it’s certainly at a looks good kind of low, not a rides great kind of low.

It’s the car we all want but I would hell no on $15k for something that questionable in the long run.

I wanna do that to mine. Except for how low it is.

Looked familiar, so I googled.

yeah, I think I observed it on my local CL a few times over several months.
clearly no one thinks it’s nice price

Good to see it has some serious brakes on it. And you won’t even have to worry about head gaskets. I want it.

right, solved the subaru problem by removing all the subaruness

Yep, that’s what I meant -- non-Outback versions. Right before Subie learned the magic formula on how to sell wagons along with some guy named Eddie Bauer, whoever that is... :D

a 180 mm rear diff with aluminum case for 400+ lbs-ft seems like a bad idea, but what do I know.

it’ll be fine, the car will spend most of the time parking at car shows with teh hood up

Has A/C

N o worries, the axles will give out first, (but that is a cool, nice looking rig... must get a bunch of double takes with LS noise instead of EJ.)

That is a thing of beauty

Easier to swap in a different engine than it is to keep replacing the head gaskets on the original! :p
